To install simply drill a 1/4″ hole into the end of your hammer handle as deep as the length of the magnet. Apply a little glue and insert the hammer handle magnet into the hole. The next time you drop a nail on the floor while shoeing, simply touch it with the end of  your hammer handle to pick it up.
